The Fire God carries a fire stick, signifying his responsibility as caretaker of one of the important physical elements of the universe - fire.

Simple flat Kachinas are cradleboard Kachina dolls. Children are given these dolls from birth and throughout their childhood to teach them what the different Kachinas represent.
