JSW714 Sterling Silver Feather Cuff

Sterling silver cuff with a feather motif by Navajo silversmith Lorenzo Juan.  The 3/4” textured hand stamped cuff has a 3/8” x 1/2” Dry Creek turquoise cabochon. The inside is 5 1/2” with a 1” gap.

After the owner's passing several years ago, material from the Dry Creek turquoise mine became scarce due to family disputes. Most of the quality Dry Creek turquoise on the market today was mined back in the 1990s.

Lorenzo Juan was born on October 6, 1954. Lorenzo began to silversmith in 1969 at 15 years old and hasn’t stopped since. He has explored a wide variety of jewelry styles, starting out in his early years with braided silver styles, honing his torch techniques and beginning to execute the high-end jewelry including overlay work that he is recognized for today.
