JSW717 Carico Lake Turquoise Cuff

Sterling silver cuff by Navajo silversmith Kirk Smith.  The 5/8" hand stamped cuff with silver overlay has a 1/2” x 5/8” Carico Lake stone. The inside is 5 1/4” with a 1” gap.

The Carico Lake Turquoise is located south of Battle Mountain in Lander County, Nevada USA. This Turquoise Mine produces Turquoise in multiple shades of blues to beautiful greens. Carico Lake Turquoise has become very popular and highly collectible in recent years for its beautiful shades of a spring colored lime green running through a sea of light sky blue with golden brown spiderweb matrix.

Kirk Smith was one of the best Navajo silversmiths around and he had been making quality handmade silver and stone jewelry for decades. His work was always top quality and he used only the best stones and materials. Kirk passed away tragically on September 17, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM.
