JSW566 Thunderbird Pendant

Sterling silver Thunderbird pendant with a 1/2” x 1/2” Kingman turquoise stone. The 2” x 2” pendant with a 1/2” bale is on a 30” leather thong. “FTC” is stamped on the back of this hand stamped coin silver pendant.

 The thunderbird is the symbol of thunder, lightning and storms which are created when the thunderbird flies.  It is considered a supernatural being of power and strength.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest producing Turquoise mines in North America. It was discovered by Native Americans over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful blue color and the mine produces many variations of blue turquoise.
