Handmade sterling silver & turquoise pendant by Navajo silversmith Leon Martinez. The 1/2” x 7/8” Carico Lake turquoise cabochon is set in a unique sterling silver setting with careful attention to detail. The 1” x 1 1/2” pendant has a silver overlay bale for a total length of 2 1/2”.

The Carico Lake Turquoise is located south of Battle Mountain in Lander County, Nevada USA. This Turquoise Mine produces Turquoise in multiple shades of blues to beautiful greens. Carico Lake Turquoise has become very popular and highly collectible in recent years for its beautiful shades of a spring colored lime green running through a sea of light sky blue with golden brown spiderweb matrix.

Leon has won several first place awards at the Navajo Nation Fair and Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial, known as the largest fair and annual event.
