J1833 Butterfly Pin/Pendant

Sterling silver pin and pendant with turquoise set in the body and a lapis head. The 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” butterfly has twisted wire and repousse designs.

Herman Smith’s work is mostly traditional revival style and he is known for ingot style silverwork   with deep stamp work in the tradition of the old master silversmiths of the Navajo Nation.
