Sterling silver tufa cast buckle by Sammie Kescoli Begay. The 3” x 1 3/8” buckle with three 5/8” x 1/2” turquoise cabochons has buffed edges. Made for a 1” belt.

Navajo silversmith Sammie Kescoli Begay is widely known for his deeply stamped heavy gauge silverwork.  He also specializes in silver appliqué. He uses only the finest grade natural turquoise in his one of a kind jewelry. Sammie was one of the early silversmiths for Shades of the West in Scottsdale, Arizona.
