The trunks in the Wash House primarily housed special occasion garb, things like church dresses and wedding gowns, and all the trimmings and underpinnings that went with them – including petticoats. We interpreted that aesthetic into a stunning statement skirt, incorporating the layers, tiers, and lace that you’d have found in an old-fashioned petticoat. It has an everyday elegance and versatility that’s going to make it a year-round favorite.
